If you register at the Symposium site, the OSU dorms accept MasterCard and Visa for dorm room payment. The Symposium registration desk in 1011B Smith Lab CANNOT accept credit card payment for registration fees.

Pre-registration forms and dormitory reservation forms are available by FTP in ASCII, PostScript, WordPerfect6.0, WordPerfect5.1. (Better approach if you have a slow internet connection)

Alternatively, you may click to view a PDF (reader can be downloaded for Adobe Acrobat) picture of the registration form which can be printed directly from your browser. (Simpler approach if you have a fast internet connection.) Please fill out the printed form and mail it to us with your payment. We can only accept checks in U.S. funds drawn on a U.S. bank. Anyone who finds this requirement impossible to fulfill should contact the Symposium office directly.

In an effort to make it easier to pre-register, especially for those with currency exchange problems, we have worked out a new trial arrangement with the Ohio State dorms. This year you will be able to charge your entire pre-registration (conference and dorm fee) to your Visa or MasterCard credit card. For those few not pre-registering, you will be able to charge your dorm accommodations on site, but NOT your Symposium registration fee. We would encourage those for whom it does not represent a major inconvenience to continue to pay by check, as you realize that credit card use comes at a price to the Symposium.

We cannot accept credit card payment through the internet or during the symposium. Any registrations received after June 8 will be processed as walk-ins. (In other words, we cannot accept credit card payments after June 8.) However, Drackett Tower will accept payment for dormitory charges only through MasterCard and Visa at check-in. (NOTE: This would be at the post-May 15 rate)

If you would like accommodations on Saturday night, June 13, call either the Holiday Inn on the Lane at 614-294-4848 or Ramada University Hotel at 614-267-7461. Identify yourself as being with the Molecular Spectroscopy Symposium to get the OSU discount. Room block will be released after May 13.

Refunds must be requested in writing by Wednesday, June 10. NOTE: Payments or reservations received after Monday, June 8 will be processed as walk-ins.
